Then we will go to the viewpoint of the Sacred Valley; there we can take great pictures of the Andes and the Sacred Valley itself. Then the bus will take us to the town of Pisac to visit the local market and the archaeological complex of Pisac, after visiting this wonderful place we’ll go to the town of Urubamba in this place we will have buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant. After the delicious lunch we head to the town of Ollantaytambo; which was built to monitor and protect the empire from possible invasion. Afterwards you’ll have some time to walk along the streets of this town and thus have a better idea of what life religion and traditions were like in this place during the period of the Incas. On the way to Cusco we’ll visit the picturesque town of Chinchero where we will see the remains of the royal house of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the front gate (this place was built on the foundations of an Inca construction). We can also admire the well-preserved Inca walls in the main square of the town.
